Shridi sai baba temple has received an ISO 22000 2005 certificate for "Prasadalaya" and certificate was handed over to the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust chairman during the 95th punyatithi (death anniversary) of Saibaba. very few temples get this certification and shirdi sai baba temple is one among them
ISO 22000-2005 specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain must demonstrate its ability to control safety hazards to ensure that food is safe during consumption.
According to the shirdi sai baba temple officials, daily 30,000 to 40,000 will have the darshan of sai baba and it will be more high on weekends like 50 ,000 to 75,000 devotees. This figure rises during special occasions like the ongoing 'punyatithi' function and festivals like Shri Ram Navami, Guru Purnima, and Vijayadasami in shirdi also. During this time taking accommodation will be very difficult due to heavy crowd.
The temple provides a free packet of laddoos to each devotee which is started from August month. Extra laddoos can be purchased for 20 for a packet.
